Clifford Etienne was a professional boxer born on March 6, 1972, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He had a career record of 29 wins, 9 losses, and 2 draws, with 20 of his wins coming by knockout.

Etienne gained some fame in the boxing world when he fought former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in February 2003. Despite being considered a heavy underdog, Etienne managed to knock Tyson down early in the first round. However, Tyson quickly recovered and went on to knock out Etienne in the same round.

Unfortunately, Etienne's life took a tragic turn after his boxing career ended. In 2006, he was arrested and convicted of a crime, which led to a prison sentence. He died in prison on October 12, 2012, at the age of 40.
